Big week!
Today we announced our partnership with Cloudera, the commercial Hadoop company, where we are to begin work together on a connector between Oracle and Hadoop. This is a very exciting step for us as the experts in Oracle database management to provide an advanced bridge between the two data platforms, so that we can enable more enterprise applications of Hadoop. We are going to be making the connector freely available on our website, and Cloudera is going to make it freely available on their website, alongside their incredibly popular Cloudera Distribution for Hadoop.
Also this week, on Wednesday, we’ll be publicly unveiling Toad for Cloud Databases at the CloudCamp in San Francisco.
